Captain Mark is a born and raised native to Naples, Fl. Mark has spent his life loving every bit of what the coastal gulf waters of SouthWest Florida have to offer. As a kid he spent his weekends fishing, camping, and skiing the back water everywhere from Naples to Marco Island. Long before even having a drivers license Mark had learned to navigate the winding mangrove jungles and shallow sandbars off SWFL. With this passion for the outdoors Mark attended college at Florida Gulf Coast University and studied our local biology, ecology, and water management practices while completing an environmental science degree.
There’s a good chance that if you call or email Naples Coastal Charters that will be Kelly on the other end. Kelly is Mark’s wife and a lot of the heart and soul behind Naples Coastal.
Kelly was born and grew up on the small coastal Massachusetts town of Nahant. Kelly grew up putting a hurting on the stripped bass populations in the summers. In the winters growing up Kelly was often spending time with family residing in Naples.
When Kelly and Mark met it was hard to keep them apart or off of the water! And it is still the same to this day! Kelly is also a Veterinary Technician at a local clinic by day, but also knows how to get on the fish! Also she is our resident shelling expert.
Capt. Mark has ran thousands of guided trips out of Naples and Marco Island over the past decade, showing countless clients the best experience Naples and Marco have to offer! Mark is super patient and ready to work with a crew of any skill level! When that pole bends over and that fish starts pulling, you better believe Mark is having just as much fun as you are!
